The Relion REM611 is a motor protection and control IED which is utilized for the control, protection, supervision and measurement of asynchronous motors in process and manufacturing industries. The Relion REM611 has a standard configuration and it supports Modbus and IEC 60870-5-103. The device provides powerful and cost-effective functionality for industrial and utility power distribution networks. The Relion REM611 can remotely view events and phasor diagrams using Microsoft Internet Explorer via the Web HMI. System integration, set-up times and device configuration is reduced by utilizing ABB's IED connectivity packages. Efficient engineering of Relion IEDs is achieved by utilizing the PCM600 tool.
