BRG 342 BRG 198 and BRG 130 are born from the necessity to have a structural direct drive generator for vertical axis turbines. For robustness and easier installation ACM Engineering has chosen to make these generators with external rotor technology, the magnetic rotating part is the casing in steel. The turbine, according to differing customer requests, is attached directly to the casing of the generator, thus giving a rotating mechanical rigidity to the system that would be difficult to reach with conventional generators with internal rotating shaft.
342 BRG generators at 32 poles are currently available in two configurations: 3 kW and 6 kW for both nominal speed of 100 rpm. The rated voltage can be adapted to the specification of electronic device. The BRG 342 series can still be adapted for turbines with different mechanical configuration after the approval of our engineering department.
198 BRG generators at 16 poles are currently available in two configurations:1 kW and 750W for both nominal speed of 210 rpm. The rated voltage can be adapted to the specification of electronic device.
BRG 198 series can still be adapted for turbines with different mechanical configuration after approval of our engineering department.
The 16-poles generators BRG 130 is currently being implemented in a configuration of 400 W at the rated speed of 300rpm. The rated voltage can be adapted to the specification of electronic device. BRG 130 series can still be adapted to turbines having different mechanical configuration after approval of our engineering department. .18 Nm equipped with incremental encoder, asolute sin-cos encoder or resolver.
