The fast multifunction counting board APCI-1710 of Addi-Data is delivered from now with a new functionality, SSI-monitoring (Synchronous Serial Interface - Monitoring). When installing a system or by error searching, this function enables to intercept the data between controllers and SSI position encoders, analyse and diagnose them in consequence.
The APCI-1710 proposes much more functions like the acquisition of incremental encoders, pulse or frequency acquisition, pulse width modulation... All functionalities can easily be used through the delivered software library and can be freely programmed for each onboard module. Drivers for Windows XP/2000/NT 4.0, Linux and LabView are delivered with the board as well as samples for C.
