The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech introduces three new members of the AMAX-2000 series. The AMAX-2241 (Panasonic Minas A) , 2242 (Mitsubishi MR-J2S), and 2243 (Yaskawa Sigma-II) are 4-axis AMONet RS-485 motion slave modules used to increase the number of axes on an AMONet RS-485 decentralized motion control network. These new slave modules can connect serially through simple Category 5 LAN cable, reducing the wiring between driver and controller.
All three new modules include: up to 20 Mbps transfer rate and 6.5 Mhz 4-axes pulse output, 28 bits industrial counter for incremental encoder, 2~4 axes linear interpolation, 2-axes circular interpolation, and T and S-curve velocity profile support.
