Cyanoacrylate adhesives are one component adhesives that cure instantly at ambient temperature. They show excellent adhesion on most supports. Polymerisation (in a matter of seconds) is caused by atmospheric humidity which creates a thermoplastic polymer. This reaction is ideal for films of thin glue (a few micros) and on small surfaces. The most important mechnaical characteristic is a very high mechanical resistance.
