ARTICULATED ARM IBS SERIES

Construction features

The IBS arm is essentially composed of:

* Painted steel bracket for fixing to wall, ceiling, or suction work surface.
* Self-loading system of variable length made of lightweight aluminium alloy, combining characteristics of low weight and resistance to polluting agents.
* Articulated system in aluminium-magnesium alloy with easy-maintenance external adjustment system.
* Flexible couplings in fire retardant, self-extinguishing polyester fabric with high pressure resistance.
* Angle adjustable suction hood in steel with anti-glare paint coating, complete with adjustable damper, anti-intrusion safety grille, bridge handle. Featuring high manoeuvrability.

Special air cleaners

* IBF flexible arm made of external plasticized self-extinguishing hose and internal structure in aluminium alloy with small parts in AISI 304 stainless steel.
* IBST arm for high temperatures made of AISI 304 stainless steel with flexible couplings in silicone impregnated glass fibre fabric.
* IBSX arm for explosive atmospheres, CE II 3D T6 certified and made of AISI 304 stainless steel and flexible couplings in polyurethane fabric reinforced with copper-plated steel; earth bonding connection between all metal components.

Limits of use

Irrespective of the AIR CLEANER, the suction arm is designed exclusively for the extraction of fumes generated by welding processes.
Other substances, such as, for example, dusts or liquids, cannot be aspirated using suction arms and they could cause faults in relation to the intended use of the equipment.
