The CHEMUNEX Fluorescent Cell Labeling Technology (Fluorassure) has been widely used by the industry for more
than 15 years and is a well-established technology for the universal labeling of viable bacteria, yeasts and molds.
The ChemScan RDI® (Scan RDI® in the US) application using the fluorescent markers is approved by the FDA.
All and only viable microorganisms are labeled, even under conditions of stress such as the nutrient-depleted conditions of process water or in the presence of growth inhibitors, and are kept intact.
Chemunex technology provides direct labeling and detection, cell by cell. This provides results in microbial cell counts without the need of any calibration curve or interpretation.
