TM8-IR AFRISO-EURO-INDEX

The new AFRISO-EURO-INDEX handheld thermometer TM8-IR is a compact, non-contact infrared instrument used for fast and reliable measurement of surface temperatures. TM8-IR is also suitable for temperature measurement at moving objects (e.g. paper reels, tyres), at live parts or in media which must not be contaminated (e.g. food industry).

Measurement is simple: the integrated laser aim is focussed on the object to be measured and the result is available within a second. A logically structured operating panel ensures that all functions are intuitively accessible. Audible and visual minimum and maximum alarms (HI-LO) can be set. The large display indicates the current measured value as well as the minimum, maximum, mean and differential values.

The measuring range of infrared technology-based instruments reaches from -33 °C to +500 °C. In addition, the measured value of a connected thermocouple (for higher temperatures) can also be displayed.
