Plasmajet® AFS GmbH

Plasmajet® (registered AFS trademark) is the name of our plasma-producing device, which operates at atmospheric pressure. The plasma is produced by passing a process gas through a high-voltage field, where it is blown out of the unit, producing a potential-free energy source which is used for surface modification. Applying the plasma to a plastic surface increases its wettability, metal surfaces can be cleaned, and welding of plastic materials is also possible.

The system consists of a plasma reactor with nozzle assembly, a high-voltage generator, a high-voltage transformer, and a high-voltage rectifier.
