rodless, recirculating ball bearing
Smooth linear motion is because of the precision of the ball bearings that ride on ground shafts that are hardened which are provided by AGI's full line of base slides, linear actuators, thrusters, pneumatic actuators, and magnetically coupled slides. For precision fixturing or mounting the end blocks and aluminum body have dowel pin holes and tapped holds contained in them. The saddle is driven by a magnetically coupled rodless air cylinder in the AGSL slide series. The overall length or footprint is reduced through the air cylinder that is built into the AGS Series. External air cylinders power the AGT series thruster slide series and the shafts are protected from vibrating due to the exclusive dual end plates system. Also available are the Polycarbonate composite bearings.
