Static mixer AgitecAGITEC static mixers are assembled on line and composed of either a series of helicoidal pitch elements on the left and right, or in the form of elliptical-edged profiles soldered and off-set at adapted angles. They are placed inside a tubular body where the movement of the gases or liquids through the modules provokes division and mixing of the transported products. When the flow is laminar, the fluid is divided into arteries (or partial currents). Each of them is divided with the passage of an element then redivided with the passage of the next element. The quality of the mixture thus depends on the number and type of elements. For turbulent flow, in addition to the division of the fluid arteries because of the leading edge of the elements, the rotation of the product caused by the form of the modules accentuates the mixing phenomena.
