SMC is advance composite material. The powder particle surface is insulated, which improves material resistivity. So high frequency eddy current loss is greatly reduced. SMC material will be processed to more complicated appearance and more precise size with powder metallurgy technique. Meanwhile, the magnetic circle is more complicated, which will improve motor productive technology, and improve the performance and quality of motor class products. With the usage of SMC material, motor size will be smaller, machining will be more precise, and coiling material consumption will be saved. It’s hopeful that SMC will replace stack material like silicon sheet to be the main motor soft magnetic production material.
