Aimtec strengths its low output power product offering with the addition of its AM1G-Z and AM2G-Z series of single and dual output DC-DC switching power supplies with operating temperature range -40.+85ºC. With output currents of up to 303mA delivered to regulated output voltage range of 3.3 to 24V, at high efficiency rates of up to 78%, the AM1G-Z and AM2G-Z series is ideally suited for portable power management applications, in addition to other telecom, industrial, datacom and transportation equipment applications.

Versatile, single and dual output modules are available in 2:1 input ranges of 4.5-9V, 9-18V, 18-36V and 36-72V with I/O isolation of 1000 and 3000VDC within a compact SIP8 package. The AM1G-Z and AM2G-Z series feature many functional advantages, including continuous short circuit protection and remote on/off control. Designed to allow the output voltage to shut-off without shutting down the input voltage, the remote ON/OFF function in Aimtec's AM1G-Z and AM2G-Z series is supports applications where conservation of the device's power consumption is required and/or there is a need for the power supplies to switch ON and OFF in a specific sequence.
