Also referred to as tangential fans. Both names try to describe the operation of the fan. Air is moved by the impeller creating a vortex inside the impeller wheel and along its impeller length, off set from its axis. This vortex pulls air into the impeller and throws it out approximately on the opposite side, hence the name cross flow. ebm have a large range from 30 mm diameter through to 120 mm diameter, from 120 mm wide through to 1,200 mm wide.
