High resistance floating barrier designed for frequent use and exposure to degradation caused by both atmospheric agents and abrasion. It is the perfect floating barrier for protected and calm water with weak currents and it is recommended for petrol plants, industries and governmental organizations of environmental emergency operations.
Floats:
Cylindric flexible floats made of expanded technopolymers and filled with closed cell foam.
Float ends are 45° finished to allow better boom mobility once it is deployed.
Floats are put inside and sewn on the upper pocket made of water-proof double layer fabric.
Ballast chain:
Hot galvanized chain put inside a pocket within the double layer fabric of the boom.
Anchorage system:
Mechanical clamp system made of Anticorodal alluminium, treated in suitable proportion wth magnesium, copper or manganese to make it sea corrosion resistant. The system is supplied with AISI 316 quick connectors for easy deployment and retrieval in any condition.
To improve safety some replaceable zinc anodes are fit on both couplings, in order to give longer boom integrity from galvanic currents.
