Whay's a POLYELECTROLYTE:
The polyelectrolyte is a polymer used as:
- thickener for cosmetic products, soap, paints, food products etc.,
- dispersant in clayey material suspensions, paint pigments, drilling muds etc.,
- flocculant in water treatment;
it's also used in textile industry (in sticking, dyeing, finishing operations) and in resin preparation or ion exchange membranes.
Use of POLIFLU solvent:
POLIFLU is a surfactants mixture (more than 90% biodegradable) designed to dissolve the rests (solid too) of electrolyte in case of accidental spill on pavements and surfaces and to clean the equipments on which the polymer is generally used.
The polyelectrolyte is a viscous material tending to dissociate in water increasing its "slippery" consistency.
POLIFLU acts removing the viscous coat after this reaction and avoiding the risks connected to slippery surfaces.
