Cold mix bituminous conglomerate with modified bitumen and structural fibers
Different for the raw materials, ECO ROAD is the first cold mix bituminous conglomerate created
with bitumen modified with plastomers/polymers and structural fibers suitably melted with a mostly
basaltic grit (size 0/8 mm) during a particular production process;
The above, besides giving the product fine performances together with a high easiness of usage,
bestows an unusual but refined opacity to this conglomerate. This opacity ascribe to ECO ROAD
different performances if compared to the competitors products: this allows ECO ROAD not to stick
to car tyres when traffic is reopened, avoiding the usual not pleasant results of grit crumbling and
scattering on the paving; at the same time this is the feature which creates a strong link among the
conglomerate particles.
It can be used without the usual preventive actions such as cleaning the damaged surface, removing
water from the hole. Moreover it doesn't need a primer with bitumen emulsion or a final consolidation
by machines.
Features and benefits:
" It can be called eco-bitumen thanks to the raw materials and special process used for its production.
" Its opacity enhances adherence to existing bitumen.
" Easy to spread (even under bad weather) without particular tools.
" It doesn't stick to passing car tyres helping the link with road mantel and lowering product dispersion on the road.
" Once spread on the hole, it requires no more maintenance operations but it keeps its performance until following asphalting.
