Water repellent oil sorbent: powder, granulates
H2 OIL
airbank
H2 OIL is a natural, non-toxic, non-flammable product, made of silica igneous rocks submitted to a particular process of thermal expansion and to a water-resistant treatment.
The use of particular raw material selected from the origin and the process
of thermal expansion with gas burners enables to obtain a stable,
inorganic and chemically inert product.
After the expansion, H2 OIL is submitted to a careful riddling in order to
obtain a big-particle-size product and to a heat treatment with polymers
solution in water which gives high floating performances, increasing its
absorbency of oils and polluting substances.
H2 OIL resists to biological attacks and doesn't degrade nor rot, even
after long shelf life.
APPLICATIONS:
" Open and bordered water reclamation
" Cleaning of port canals and canals rich in vegetation
" Lakes and marshy areas reclamation
" Whereever there is a direct contact between the polluting agent and protected areas (water, land, marshy and so on)
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
" Spread H2 OIL directly on water as near as possible to the pollutant liquid
" Move the product with strong water jets in order to favour its spreading on wide surfaces and in order to achieve a quicker absorption of oil substances
" H2 OIL, when saturated, looks like an agglomerate and is easy visible because of its darker colour.
" Make the product flow towards the same point using barricades and floating barriers to favour its gathering
" Take away the saturated H2 OIL with a close mesh.
" Spread layers of H2 OIL until the product keeps its granular form and changes colour no more.
