For moderate-speed, high-torque, cyclic applications that require extra stopping power, Eaton Airflex CTE drum-style brakes deliver much greater torque than Eaton Airflex Type CS brakes. Both spring-applied and air-released, Eaton Airflex Type CTE brakes are bi-directional, so they develop approximately the same torque in either direction of drum rotation.
