" MODEL D " Lug Type Airshaft - Single Bladder Designed to rewind and unwind rolls of variable widths, these shafts are strong and rigid. So much so that one or more rolls may be used on the same shaft. Cantilever shafts with flange or journal mounting may be designed for cantilever applications. They are suitable for cardboard, plastic, or steel cores* Our shafts are made of steel, aluminium, or lightweight composite. Depending on the application, they will feature aluminium, steel or polyurethane lugs. All our shafts are custom made, and this is how we ensure that our product is perfect for your needs. Our engineers give priority to stresses such as torque, load and speed in order to exceed your requirements. * On request, we can produce “LARGE EXPANSION” (GE in French) shafts, which can hold cores with an internal diameter that can vary between several millimetres. The construction range for the “Model D” shafts leaves the option of using cores with a diameter from 20 to 600mm.
