The AKU2004 is a top ported, surface mountable, digital output microphone
designed for microphone arrays integrated on camera modules. As a full Voice-to- Bits™ digital audio solution, the AKU2004 handles the analog voice signal arriving at the transducer through several levels of on chip processing until the voice signal is digital and ready for interface formatting. For the manufacturer, this translates to a microphone array solution that is virtually immune to all forms of Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) while at the same time decreasing design complexity and improving time-to-market.
