The alfabelt conveyor belts are tightened on frame. An excellent transverse rigidity is necessary to obtain : - Concave and convex bends ; - A support of the return strand on the lateral areas with no bending of the belt.
In the Longitudinal way, the flexibility of standard belts is preserved. In other words, tight belts on frame don't require larger drum diameter than the standard EP belt.
