By integrated heating surfaces into fluidised-bed dryers, we have succeeded in improving the efficient exchange of heat and mass in fluidised beds, which was already very high, even further. This makes it possible to dry or cool crystalline or granulated solids in a deeper fluidised bed carefully, quickly and very economically, with considerably reduced energy consumption.
Maximum heat transfer and vaporization performance in the smallest possible space results in optimum process parameters and the amount of air required is simultaneously reduced.
