The remaining dusts and powders can be further processed into easily soluble instant products. The machine is particularly suitable for processing urea granules, yeast and gelatin granules, and water jars. During granulation, the solids-containing liquid is applied via nozzles to the fluidized bed and thus to the fluidized solid particles. The heat introduced with the drying air evaporates the water content or the respective solvent and causes the solids introduced with the liquid to grow onto the granulate nucleus. Solid, often shell-shaped built-up granules with very good flowability are formed. Once the granules have reached the desired diameter, they are discharged by classification through a screening machine or sifter. Particles that are too small are fed back into the process.
