Alminco Gopher® and Alminco Gopher Fatboy® are air-powered roof-bolting and drilling solutions for use in mining and civil applications. They are manufactured from modern engineering composite materials, advanced plastics and steel components to minimise weight without compromising strength. Known for its light weight, the Gopher series can be quickly deployed underground, even in a restricted space.
The Gopher Fatboy® has a large diameter leg (LDL) to maximise thrust, allowing superior drilling rates and fast bolt placement times. In low air pressure, extra thrust and inbuilt clutch arrangement provides additional bolt tensioning which allows the bolting cycle to proceed as normal. Alminco Gopher® and Gopher Fatboy® come in over twenty configurations of leg and chuck combinations to suit your specific needs. When coupled together, the Alminco Gopher® and Alminco T-REX® are fast becoming a favourite for primary support applications.
