The CBWatch-2 is a proactive link is directly installed on to the circuit breaker with ensured cost-effective circuit breaker management. The system maintains a constant monitored link with the local or remote database via CBWatchTool software, constantly monitors the circuit breakers condition and trends in operational parameters.It provides advance warning to avoid network failures and guarantees substation equipment with longer life. The installed link collects information the installed sensors using the standard operational parameters that are programmed into the system. The recorded information is then analyzed and compared. Gas pressure and temperature is constantly checked. SF6 or gas mixture is calculated using Beattie-Bridgeman algorithm. It closely monitors hydraulic or spring operating mechanisms, current during switching.
