Description

The BAC bimetallic thermometer features a 90° back angle, rear threaded connection design. These thermometers, with 304 stainless steel wetted parts, are rugged and commonly used in industrial, pulp and paper, food and beverage processing, HVAC, and OEM applications The thermometers may be silicone filled for additional vibration dampening. A variety of lens materials are available including acrylic, polycarbonate, shatterproof and tempered glass. Standard stem diameter, up to 42” long, is .25”. Other available stem sizes are .24” (6 mm), .32” (8 mm), and .375” (9.52 mm). The standard threaded connection is 1/2-14 NPT, but others are available. LENS: Glass BIMETALLIC COIL Hélix coil is silicone coated on ranges below 500°F for vibration dampening and to maximize heat transfer and response time full span per ASME B40.3 Grade A, when us-ing maximum or minimum température indicator, accurate to within 1-1/2% full span
