Acousto-optic programmable dispersive filter Amplitude TechnologiesOffered in collaboration with Fastlite, the Dazzler Acousto-Optic Programmable Dispersive Filter (AOPDF) is a temporal filter of arbitrary shape (amplitude and phase) for ultrafast lasers. It is used in the PULSAR series of high energy ultrafast amplifiers for programmable compensation of time dispersion, as well as arbitrary pulse shaping.
The device consists of a small matchbox-sized enclosure inserted in the PULSAR amplifier. The control electronics are installed away from the experiment and User-friendly software is pre-installed in a notebook computer, which is supplied with the Dazzler.
