Variable magnetic field generator
AMT&C

The variable magnetic field generator on the basis of a Halbach cylinder is designed for studying the properties of substances in high-intensity permanent magnetic fields, providing the researcher with a unique possibility of varying the field intensity value from - Âmax up to + Âmax. The magnetic field variation rate can be as high as tens of Tesla per second. The field direction is constant and transverse to a cylinder-shaped working volume. The field strength is controlled by means of a (step) motor. The field uniformity is within ± 0.5%.
The variable magnetic field generator is used for research in physics, chemistry, and other sciences.
