Functional description The ANAG Silo Discharger-Valves Type SAK are the ideal system for discharging and metering free- to very difficult flowing materials out of medium to large bulk storage silos. The system provides simultaneously 3 functions : Efficient discharge system thanks to the lifting cone, metering and dosing system thanks to manually or automatically adjustable lift height and tight, fail safe valve in closed position. Bridges at the upper part of the silo hopper are destroyed by the lifting movement of the cone-valve pushing a material column upwards. The annular material discharge out of the unit guarantees mass flow out of the silo and therefor prevents any segregation. The cone valve is powered by a pneumatic lifting actuator. The units are bolted to the silo hopper with rigid, dust-tight flanges. There are no flexible connections required and there is no noise during operation.
