The Robot described in this section is a special machine that for its features and performances is designed and produced only on customer requests and specifications. Eight-axis Robot of which 5 are Cartesian and 3 are polar with a structure similar to the APR family but with different movements to better handling pieces with big dimensions. In this Robot the arm support structure is mobile unlike the APR family where this structure is fixed. The two columns which support the beam move from and toward the press, flowing on two tracks; they are moved by two motorizations lined up in electric controlled axis. The beam flows along columns for the low tall movement and supports the head of the robot which can flow in turn along the same beam for the right-left movement.
