SZ series water ring vacuum pumps and compressors are used to pump or compress air or other noncorrosive gas not dissoluble in water and not containing solid particles，so as to form up vacuum or pressure in the enclosed container．The gas pumped may allow little liquid．They are widely used in the fields of machinery，petrochemical，pharmaceuticals，foodstuff，sugar refining and electronics．

As the gas is compressed under isothermal state in the process，so that it cannot be likely to result in any danger upon pressing or pumping inflammable and explosive gas，thus making it more widely used．
