Rather than having to use a number of individual phase sensitive detection (PSD) modules (which provided unwanted and unused functionality) these boards provide a low-cost, high quality alternative solution. When used in conjunction with the additional laser driver board a complete OEM, four-channel PSD measurement solution with 9 bit phase control and derivative measurement capabilities at f, 2f and 3f can be easily achieved.
