The blanks are transported from cutting with the help of a fixing table. A gripper mounted on a linear unit comes forward to retrieve, grip and move the cut blank to a fixing position, where two servo-driven side stops center it.
A two-axis SpeedFeeder then picks the blank and feeds it into the press. The SpeedFeeder is equipped with a quick connection for quick gripper changeover. The parameters acceleration, position and synchronization with the press are programmable in the automation equipment. The settings are controlled and stored in the control panel and can be easily changed between operations.
