The PA02 is a 5A, 38V power operational amplifier with a very high 350kHz power bandwidth designed to drive resistive, inductive and capacitive loads such as motor, valve and actuator controls. The PA02 provides a complementary “collector output” stage that can swing close to the supply rails and is protected against inductive kickback. Low crossover distortion and internal losses as low as 1.2V at 2A make this device very efficient when system voltages are low and power is at a premium. The PA02A is the A grade version providing enhance performance in the areas of offset voltage, offset current and bias current. The PA02M/883 is the fully certified military grade version. The PA02 series is a hybrid product design housed in an electrically isolated, hermetically sealed, 8-pin TO-3 metal package. For continuous operation under load, a heatsink of proper rating is recommended.
