MATERIAL
Box and cover are manufactured in stainless steel quality AISI-316, with 1.5 or 2 mm plate thickness according to different sizes.
FINISH
This material does not need any protection treatment due to its technical features. It has a satin finish.
CLOSURE
By means of captive flush screws with nylon washer, that ensures a perfect closure.
WATERTIGHTNESS
A neoprene gasket inserted in the box edge provides the box with a degree of protection of IP-65, according to UNE 20324, CEI 529 and EN 60529. By order, IP-67 protection grade can be supplied.
ENTRIES
The number of entries that may be carried out is indicated in the general characteristics of each box. Entries may be threaded following several standars, being the most common in metric thread according to ISO 261 and Pg thread according to DIN 40430.
Since boxes thickness do not allow to make threads in the holes, they are unthreaded. However, in case that threaded entries are necessary, it is posible to assembly sleeves made of the same material as the box whit as the box with internal thread by welding them to the box side.
