CHARACTERISTICS
Series 3000 increased safety boxes can be supplied with Marechal series DXN EEx ed IIC T6 discontactors. They can be placed on the box sides as well as on the cover, maintaining the degree of protection.
DXN discontactors are socket outlets with an integrated switching device (art. 2.8 of standard EN 60309-1) and a rated current from 16A to 32A. The closing and breaking capacity belongs to categories of use AC23 or AC22 of standard EN 600947-3. The discontactors can feed:
-Charges consisting of motors or other charges highly inductive: category AC23.
-Mixed inductive and reactive charges: category AC22.
Other characteristics of series DXN discontactors are:
-Safety disc that makes inaccessible the pieces under voltage.
-Antistatic housing made of auto-extinguishing glass reinforced polyester.
-Encoder of 24 voltage positions.
-Cover with automatic opening.
-Reliability of silver-nickel butt contacts.
-DXN3 (32) available with two auxiliary contacts.
