This high-precision series has established a reputation for performance and reliability in a wide variety of science and engineering applications. With resolution as great as 0.1 microradian (0.02 arc second) these instruments are among the most sensitive inclinometers in the world. The internal tilt sensors parallel the orthogonal sides of the base plate. Each tiltmeter includes a temperature sensor. The internal electronics drive signals over cable lengths greater than 1000m. Typical applications include pointing and positioning of telescopes, particle beams and lasers; satellite testing; dam and bridge monitoring; and volcano monitoring.
