IRIS

The IRIS Tilt Switch and Controller is a powerful control device that enables you to measure and respond to rotational movements in any direction with reference to the unchanging gravity vector. Standard versions of IRIS offer 5 user-programmable thresholds and hysteresis settings. Threshold checking rate also is user-selectable, as are powerful functions such as autozero, data smoothing, and data format selection. In addition, IRIS is a full-featured biaxial inclinometer available with RS232 or RS422 output for easy deployment in a variety of applications. Typical applications include platform level control, avoiding tip-over conditions, and control of solar trackers.
