The designs of our Slot Computing boards are all based on the open PICMG standard that describes the ISA, PCI & PCI-ISA Passive Backplane form factor. PICMG allows for bridging of the PCI bus, allowing users to add up to 17 PCI boards to a single system. These full size boards are available in either 32-bit or 64-bit (high bandwidth) designs and high performance devices, usually applied in compact and rugged enclosures suited for mission-critical applications in harsh environments.
