Each Model 9CT weld head utilizes a removable cassette module which acts as a fixturing device. This allows the operator to pre-position the tubes or fittings to be welded, check for proper fit-up, and then insert the weld head into the cassette and perform the weld. Use of multiple cassettes can increase welding rate and productivity. The cassette modules may be used in-place or mounted on a bench for high-production welding. Multiple cassettes may be used with one weld head, minimizing set-up time and allowing the operator to fit-up multiple joints prior to welding. To verify fit-up, all cassettes feature a window to provide a 360 degree view of the weld joint. Cassettes are available for the Model 9-500, 9AF-750 and 9-1500.
