The time-proven TIGweld 300ST-R Inverter power source is primarily designed for TIGwelding (GTAW) with an industrial robot. It can also be used for Stick (SMAW) welding and arc gouging. Available for 240V single-phase; 480V three-phase; 575V three-phase and 400V three-phase input power. The three-phase supply voltage is connected to a built-in circuit breaker, to a three-pulse rectifier cicuit, and to a radio noise suppression module. The welder incorporates a circuit which indicates when the torch tip touches the work piece. The unit sends the signal out through the remote. The "touching" voltage is adjustable from 0V to 5V. Welding current is isolated and independently measured by a Hall Sensor device. The conversion is is 400A=4V, 1K ohm maximum load with an accuracy > 1%. All Workhorse machines feature corrosion resistant protection with warranty, rugged cases, 5-zone internal thermal protection, manufacturer's warranty and operation manual.
