Shipbuilding welder
Arcon Welding
Four of ARCON's welding power sources are designed for use in the Shipbuilding Industry. These Workhorse models include the 300S Stick/Lift-Start TIG, the MIGweld 300MS, the 300ST Arc-Starter TIG and the Studhorse 1200DM Drawn-Arc stud welder. These welders are small, portable, proven reliable, durable and protected against corrosion. All models use a reliable SCR type Inverter circuitry for high-power efficiency and longevity. Built-In Circuit Breakers are standard, and 5-zones of thermal protection minimize power and heat-related failures. The sturdy Fiberglass-reinforced case protects machine when transported, dragged or dropped.
Wall Contractors increase efficiency with the easy-to-use Studhorse 1200DM when welding fasteners on unprepped surfaces to install insulation, panels and fixtures. HVAC Contractors can use a Voltage-Sensing MIG wire feeder to the Stick/TIG power source for maximum versatility. Furthermore, the unique design of these machines make them ideal for TIG welding on thin metal with less chance of burn-through and making butt pipe root welds. Field-proven features and advantages for all models can be found in Direct Industry's product showcase.
