These are presses specially designed for working in automatic mode with progressive dies, which are dies in which several successive operations are performed on the strip as it progresses automatically with each stroke by a pitch or length which exists between operations. The strip advance takes place in the upper half of the press cycle and the deformation work is performed in the lower half. The various cutting, bending, stamping tasks, etc. lead to off-center forces and these presses are specially prepared to support them.
