Transfer presses are used for manufacturing large production runs in which, due to their complexity, type of drawing, waste of raw materials, etc. the use of progressive die-stamping is not recommended. All the successive operations to produce the piece are performed on the Transfer presses, starting with a blank which is cut in the first operation, or which has been cut beforehand.
