Leading roll forming manufacturers use the automated TwinShuttle® system for rapid coil change.
Coil change in 90 seconds
ARKU has developed and successfully installed in practice a fully automatic coil change system with double carousel decoiler, TwinShuttle® threading unit and strip end welding system. The operator is only responsible for loading the coil.
With this system, standstill times of 90 seconds can be achieved. These can be bridged with strip storage units if required.
