The ARLA Clamping System is a centralized workholding system to clamp round workpieces (shafts, pipes, tubes) or any other symmetrical workpieces. Due to the mechanically synchronous clamping technology a high clamping force can be realized. Workpieces can be put into the system either axially or vertically. The accuracy according to the repeatability is within a tolerance of less than 0.01 mm. Models with either manual (M), pneumatic (P), or hydraulic (H) actuation are available.
