ARLA Slide & Table Units are high-precision units with outstanding features and designed for 1 or 2 axes driven by a.c. servo drives. It is easy to integrate the units in CNC machine tools (standard or special purpose machines or manufacturing lines) and also as "upgrades" in conventional machines (in case of retrofitting). The units may be controlled either by any memory-programmable control (PLC) or by a powerful CNC system. ARLA's slide and table units are part of a total machining concept in connection with external machining units. The ideal situation is the configuration of a powerful CNC machining unit consisting of the slide or table units in combination with ARLA Spindle Units.
