Piezoresistive pressure transmitters are cost-saving and reliable instruments that supply a permanent output signal analog to the measured pressure, for transmission and remote monitoring i.e. indication, registration, control, adjustment and regulation.
Chemical seals can be mounted additionally, when the transmitter has to be separated from the medium, e.g. in case of aggressive or highly viscous media etc.
The compact and rugged piezoresistive pressure transmitters with protection class IP 65 are used more and more in all kinds of industrial facilities and plants.
The pressure sensor can be calibrated based on the atmosphere, i.e. "relative pressure" (r), on absolute zero, i.e. "absolute pressure" (a), or on the pressure above the atmospheric pressure, i.e. "overpressure (ü).
