Arteche offers two types of harmonic filters for use with 1-phase non-linear loads. Type SLPF is a low pass filter that attenuates all harmonic frequencies and Type THF is a 3rd Harmonic blocking filter that reduces the third Harmonic from both phase and neutral conductors.
APPLICATION: Single phase filters are suitable for reducing harmonics in both industrial and commercial applications such as office buildings, schools, casinos etc. Type SLPF Low Pass Harmonic Filters are normally used with variable frequency drives that are supplied from a single phase power source such as submersible pumping, irrigation, fans, blowers, and other motor/drive applications. Type THF 3rd Harmonic Filters are typically used for 1-phase loads such as computers, slot machines, video monitors, video games, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), etc
